Well after reading a post on UK scrappers have decide to subscribe to the blog prompy. I really don't update often enough and this gives me an opprtunity to do so!
So the question is:
Who are the people you've met that you gained the most from?

This is a hard one, Probably my main person is my husband, he has taught me to be more layed back and not to get so stressed out about things
Obviously my parents have given me alot, my mother has taught me patience and my father has taught me lots of pratical skills and to work hard in my life.

Well since I blogged last I have been on holiday, which was lovely, whilst on holiday we celebrated my hubby's 40th and my dad's 70th.
Must admited have only done a little scrapping since getting home, but hope to get alot more done in the winter months!
Will sign off now, heres hoping the new prompt will encourage me to blog more often.
Have included a recent LO I have done using the scrapagogo kit.

Well haven't posted for ages, thought I would update tonight. Have received my first monthly sub for scrapagogo, and it's fab! Can't wait to use, but am going away in a few days so will have to start when I get back. Have been quite busy scrapping and have just started making paper bag books, which I really love doing as they are so fast and simple. The weather has been lovely here and have managed to have a few "roofless" days in the car, which is brill!!
Have included a few pics of latest LO hope you like them.
My UKscrappers team "Chocolate Buttons" has decided to do a CJ. Never done one before so should be quite daunting but quite exciting aswell! It's theme is "All about me" Will sign off now
and update after holiday.......

Been so busy over the last week since getting home from holiday, Have had a few days out, to a friends caravan and to the Suffolk Show. Unfortunately the weather wasn't too good on both these days but Mia and I made the most of it. Counting down to the day when I receive my first "scrapagogo" kit! Should be here in about ten days or so, will leave some pics of my first LO's using the kit. Mia had her school photo's today, don't know if we have them as last week she got a huge graze on her face falling off a bike, but there we go her injury could have been worse.

Well just dropped in for a quick post about my hols, We have been to Colonia de Sant Jordi in Mallorca for 8 days, The weather was fab, but coming home to this weather is awful, just can't seem to get warm!! Mia had a fab time paying on the beach all day, although the sea was still a bit too chilly for her to go in swimming, hopefully by the time we go back in a month it will be warmer! Well better nip off to continue with the mountain of ironing to do now, we all have to pay for the luxury of holidays! Hope you enjoy the photos, please note I won't inflict any pictures of me in a bikini on you !!

Been having a lovely time tonight creating a LO with some beautiful papers I bought from Scrapagogo. To tell you the truth I have had them for nearly a week now, and just couldn't bring myself to use them! Printed out a lovely picture I had of Mia , my daughter with her 2nd cousin, Rebecca. They had a lovely time over Easter, and it was Mia's first real "sleepover". I co-ordinated the papers with the girls clothes and I am really pleased with the result. It is the first time I have used my sewing machine on a LO , although some of the stitching is a bit wonky! Ah well practice makes perfect. In the last few days I have subscribed to the Scrapagogo monthly kit, just hope I am pleased with it, I'm sure I will be as everyone raves about it. Just can't wait now until mid-June to receive it. Well I will sign off now, but will post more LO's as I pluck up the courage to use the gorgeous "Cherry Arte" papers.

Well spent last night doing a LO about my daughter. I was moaning yesterday about how much she chatters, so I gave the LO the title " Little Miss Chatterbox. I've decided I really must start using different colours apart from pink, although last night I did manage to add a bit of brightly coloured paper!
The weather has been lovely here today, so now my daughter has gone to bed, I'm off to give Alfie (the car) a good wash and polish.
Also I managed to have the roof down today, but must remember to put sun-cream on before I go out, A bit of a pinkish nose tonight!!

Blogging

Well I am on a roll now! Thanks for all the help from the girls at uk scrappers, I have inserted a slide on the right, containing LO , paint tins & a door hanger I did for my little girls bedroom.
I don't really understand what I am doing , but it seem to have worked so far.

Recently I've really got into altered art, mostly paint cans and lunch tins. I've made them for friends and family for presents and all seem to love them. This one on the left I did for a baby boy. The one on the right is one I made for a friends birthday.
I find them so enjoyable and satisfying to do. Already I have a few on order for Christmas pressies!
This is Alfie, My new vw beetle cabriolet. I got him in March and I absolutely love him! Unfortunately we have only had the roof down a couple of times so far, but hope to more in the summer, fingers crossed! He is my second beetle, my first was a 1973 white beetle called Bertie. My little girl loves Alfie, especially when the roof is down, so she can look at the clouds!

My first Post

Well I've just set up this blog thing, have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, heres hoping I improve!
